Engine and internal components
American engines require parts that match the technical specifications precisely. Catalina supplies a wide range of internal engine components for maintenance, rebuilds, and performance upgrades. Examples include oil pans, cylinder heads, crankshafts, camshafts, pistons, bearings, and complete engine kits.
For every part we take factors into account such as undersize and oversize measurements, material selection, engine configuration, and application. For critical components such as camshafts, lifters, and rocker arms, we also verify the correct engine type, for example flat tappet or roller. This helps prevent incorrect orders and ensures reliable installation.
Fuel and air supply
For both classic and modern American engines we supply components for fuel and air supply. These include carburetors, fuel pumps, injectors, intake manifolds, and air filters.
Carburetors and rebuild kits are selected based on CFM rating and compatibility with modern fuels. For fuel tanks and fuel lines we take import regulations and safety requirements into account so everything can be delivered correctly and responsibly.
Ignition and electrical
A well-functioning engine starts with reliable ignition. Catalina supplies components such as ignition coils, spark plugs, spark plug wire sets, distributors, and sensors. For older vehicles we consider model year and technology, such as contact-point ignition systems used in classic models.
Starter motors and alternators are also part of the range, including high-torque versions for larger engines or modified setups.
Cooling
Cooling is essential for the lifespan of the engine. That is why we supply radiators, water pumps, thermostats, viscous fan clutches, and air conditioning components.
We pay attention to details such as water pump rotation direction, temperature ratings in Fahrenheit, and radiator material. This ensures the cooling system matches the engine and the vehicle’s usage.
Transmission and drivetrain
For the drivetrain we supply parts for both manual and automatic transmissions. These include clutch kits, flexplates, flywheels, torque converters, and rebuild kits.
We also supply differential components such as ring & pinion sets, universal joints, and wheel bearings. Gear ratios, stall speed, and transmission type are always taken into account in our advice.
